ChupacabraChupacabra means goat sucker. The legendary animal is said to roam through Mexico, southwest USA, and Puerto Rico as well as other areas. The Chupacabra is blamed for mysterious livestock deaths, and examples of Chupacabras have been found and photographed, usually dead. The creature is described variously as resembling a hairless bear, sometimes with spikes on its back, or a hairless dog-like animal. Some of the carcasses and photographs have been studied and turned out to be coyotes with a severe case of mange.

Stories
Big Foot EncounterOn June 22, 2009, at around 6:30 p.m., a 19-year-old college student was driving on a curvy back road near Rhinebeck, N.Y., on the way to a rehearsal at a nearby performing arts center, according to the BFRO report. As he swerved to miss an object on the road — a shopping bag containing, oddly, an open cereal box and a small log — he glanced in his rearview mirror and saw someone or something darting behind his car, apparently to retrieve the bag. A moment later, the student stopped and turned his car around, and got a three-to-four second glimpse of "something walking on two feet" about 50 feet (15.24 meters) away. He described the creature, which he saw from the rear and side profile, as being between 7 and 7.5 feet (2.1 and 2.2 meters) tall, covered with black hair, and possessing broad, muscular shoulders with arms that swung in an exaggerated fashion and palms that faced upwards. The witness recalled that he felt "nervous, confused, and excited at the same time" during his brief encounter.

SkinWalker EncounterMy uncle and cousin saw a large deer on the side of the road. When they got closer it hopped over the fence like a bipedal man. One time driving back from Gallup, my dad saw an old navajo woman walking on the side of the road and when he slowed to offer her a ride she took off into the plains, quickly with inhuman speed. Once when I was a kid, my family was at my Aunt’s house which is in a rural secluded area when we were toyed with by a few entities. They would make animal noises and when we looked to the direction from which the noises were coming they would turn a flashlight on and off. The noises would come from all directions, in increasingly shorter succession. Usually when I’m there, on the reservation visiting, alone late at night I will feel the presence of evil and dread, panic and paranoia will wash over me and as sudden as it comes it will leave.

El Chupacabra EncounterHe walked out into our backyard to check on our chickens, who were making noise and acting agitated. He told me that he saw a bright white light bouncing around just above the tree tops. He watched it for a few moments until a moving shadow in the bushes caught his eye. What he saw next sent him into a panic. He described what he saw as a creature unlike anything he had ever seen. It was less than a meter and a half (about four feet) tall and dog-like, but had large glowing, red eyes. It stood up on its hind legs and he could see long, sharp claws on its forelimbs. He said it had fangs that were at least 10 centimeters long. And while he described it as mostly hairless, with blue-gray, scaly skin, he said it had long tufts of matted fur, or maybe spines, sticking up from its back.
